Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson a souffert d'un arrêt cardiaque cet après-midi. Les paramédics et les médecins n'ont pas été en mesure de le réanimer. Le chanteur est mort à l'âge de 50 ans.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses trois enfants: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson et Prince «Blanket» Michael Jackson II.

Il s'apprêtait à donner une série de concerts d'adieu à l'aréna O2 de Londres cet été.

Le bureau du coroner de Los Angeles a confirmé la nouvelle sur les ondes de CNN, indique People. L'autopsie sera pratiquée vendredi.

Jackson est arrivé à l'hôpital UCLA Medical Center dans un coma profond. Les médecins l'ont ensuite déclaré mort, selon le LA Times, qui cite des sources des milieux municipaux et policiers.

Une autre source avait de son côté déclaré à TMZ qu'il était déjà mort avant l'arrivée des secours.

Parcours

Jackson avait tout d'abord connu la gloire aux côtés de ses frères avec les Jackson 5. Il s'est ensuite démarqué comme chanteur solo.

Il avait débuté sa carrière dans les années 60. Son père Joe aurait été violent avec ses enfants, des jeunes dont il voulait faire des stars. Le comportement de son paternel aurait affecté Michael durant toute sa vie.

En 1972, tout en continuant de faire carrière avec ses frères, Jackson a mis sur le marché un premier album solo intitulé «Got to Be There». D'autres disques allaient suivre avant la venue d'un album mythique…

Le 30 novembre 1982, Jackson lança l'album «Thriller». En un an, ce disque est rapidement devenu l'album le plus vendu de tous les temps. Près de 27 ans après sa sortie, cette galette reste la plus vendue de toute l'histoire du disque.

En solo, le chanteur a eu 13 chansons numéros un au palmarès, plus que tout autre artiste masculin depuis la création du Billboard Hot 100.

Il a vendu plus de 750 millions d'albums en carrière. Son dernier opus studio est «Invincible» paru en 2001.

Ses disques solos «Off the Wall» (1979), «Bad» (1987), «Dangerous» (1991) et «HIStory» (1995) ont également connu de bons succès.

Vie privée

Jackson avait été accusé d'abus sexuels sur des mineurs en 1993 sauf que l'affaire avait été abandonnée, faute de preuves.

En 2005, suite à d'autres accusations similaires, il avait subi un procès mais avait finalement été acquitté.

Au cours des dernières années, Jackson avait également fait l'objet de nombreuses poursuites et recours. Sa situation financière de plus en plus précaire était souvent à la source de ses problèmes juridiques.

Il a été marié et divorcé à deux reprises. Il a d'abord épousé la fille du King Lisa Marie Presley en 1994. Quelques années plus tard, il a marié l'infirmière Deborah Jeanne Rowe, qui lui donna deux enfants. Son troisième enfant, surnommé Blanket, est né en 2002. L'identité de la mère n'a jamais été rendue publique.

Michael Jackson laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, ses parents ainsi que ses frères et sœurs Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, La Toya, Marlon, Randy et Janet.

Souvenirs souvenirs!
Je me souviens de mes frangins s'entrainant pendant des heures, avant d'aller frimer en boite! Il y a même un cousin qui était arrivé à se dégotter le fameux blouson en cuir rouge et noir!

Moi j'ai pitie de mon fiston de 15ans, il etait tellement content enfin il allait le voir en vrai. Qd il a su que Michael venait joue a Londres, il a tout fait (du chantage) a son gd-frere pour qu'il lui achete un billet.... Hier , il est monte dans ma chambre est m'a dit ceci; Maman , prkoi lui??? j'etais tellement heureux , content que j'allais le voir si pas cette annee, l'annee prochaine et voila....namoni mayi ya miso ekiti ye.... Il passait son temps a visionner ses clips , a ecouter ses chansons, et pourtant il n'etait pas de sa generation.... , azali generation na ngai...Ah la vie ......Repose en paix Michael !
